Albany Area Regional Transportation Plan Draft

The Appendix for the Albany Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO) Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) is now available. Please click HERE for Part 1, HEREfor Part 2, and HERE for Part 3.

As a reminder, the AAMPO Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) will meet on Thursday, May 10th with the RTP TAC and interested parties. Please find the agenda packet, including the most current draft of the Plan HERE.

At the January 11th meeting, the AAMPO TAC approved submitting the RTP and the Albany Transit Development Plan (TDP) to the AAMPO Policy Board for final adoption. However, subsequent comments have been received from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), which affected the RTP. Attachment B, in the agenda packet for May 10th meeting, is a comment log explaining the edits, and Attachment C is the updated RTP document.

Staff are asking the TAC and RTP TAC to review the changes and approve submitting the updated RTP to the Policy Board for final adoption, slated for the May 23rd Policy Board meeting. The TDP remains unchanged and will be submitted to the Policy Board for approval at the same May 23rd meeting.

For quorum purposes for next week’s May 10th meeting, please RSVP to Emma Chavez at echavez@ocwcog.org by Tuesday, May 8th.
